Founder & Principal

June Capital is led by Liam Stanton - a lifelong Chicagoan with deep roots in the area as the youngest of 8 siblings. Over a 15‑year career at the intersection of technology, operations, and growth, Liam has steered high‑velocity startups, co‑founded two ventures, advised founders as a venture‑capital operator, and led strategy for a $500 million global industrial business.

Whether building teams from zero or modernizing century‑old companies, his focus is constant: translate bold ideas into sustainable, profitable growth. What sets Liam apart is a mix of boardroom rigor and block‑party warmth. He leads through influence, moves fast without breaking trust, and believes the best idea wins - no matter where it comes from. Colleagues value his knack for rallying diverse stakeholders, spotting opportunity in overlooked places, and shipping results that speak for themselves.

Liam is proudly involved in the Chicago community, having founded a neighborhood advocacy group to support small businesses, serving on the board of the Danny Did Epilepsy Foundation, and mentoring grade school students and emerging entrepreneurs. Liam earned his MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and lives in Chicago’s Bowmanville neighborhood with his wife, son, and their golden retriever, June.
